Market research and selecting a market is very important actions for online marketing. I will go through processes required to set up your own website and we will start from the first steps required to identify any interesting and lucrative market. For the purposes of this Hub, don’t worry about this first step and don’t spend too much time about it, since any topic or niche that meets the criteria I will show in the videos below can be lucrative and profitable, and that is the main objective of the help I provide in this hub!

In the online markets, select a keyword that meets the next criteria:

- 100 searches or better per day. Use for that purpose: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal :

- Select a phrase to broad match minimum of 15% ideally or 50% and higher.
- An average CPC of minimum $0.5 (ideally) up to $1 or higher.
- Having 15,000 competing websites in google.
- Weak competition indicator as Hubpages hub, answers.yahoo, ezine article, squidoo , buzzle article or any similar web sites in Top 5 in Google for target keyword and generate traffic.
- You must select and chose an EXACT MATCH DOMAIN NAME that may be available: the “.com” is the ideal, but “.net” or “.org” will be good to work.

IT IS EXTREMLY IMPORTANTE TO SELECT AN EXACT MATCHING DOMAIN NAME.

Your domain is the main home base of your business site and must be purchased from a reliable provider, no matter if you spend $1.00 on $2.00 more than others cheaper provider. I usually select and purchase my domain name differently from the host provider, ant that is more to avoid any potential problem that may be encountered down the road. Some people may watch the below video and may wonder my purposes from using this method rather than getting a free domain with the hosting plan.

My easy answer is that although I haven’t right now encountered any problems from my recommended host provider, I always prefer my domain name purchased with a separate provider, and that will forward me more flexibility to move from a host provider to another with relative freedom and better ease.
